THE BASICS. The Oklahoma State men's and women's cross country play host to one of the largest cross country meets of the year in the Cowboy Jamboree. The Jamboree will have one of the deepest fields in the country until the NCAA Championships with six top 25 teams competing between the two races.This is the Oklahoma State University Cross Country Course. It is home to the Cowboy Jamboree, the oldest cross country race in the nation. It is a 5k course, run on mostly grass and some wood chips.
